What is a MAC address?

A MAC (media access control) address is a unique identification (example: 06:CA:12:F3:BC:7A) assigned to every internet-connected machine that allows it to be identified when connected to a specific network.

You will need to know the MAC address of your gaming console, streaming device, wireless printer, or other IoT (Internet of Things) devices so you can register it into our system before connecting it to the 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站-IOT-5G or 蜜桃影像传媒有限公司网站-IOT wireless networks. You do not need to register your mobile phone, laptop, or tablet devices.

How to find your MAC Address?

Below are steps to help you locate the MAC address of some of the most common gaming and entertaining devices available. If your device is not listed or for the most up-to-date information, please check the user manual or official website for your device.

::Playstation 5 (PS5) and Playstation 4 (PS4)

1. Power up your PS4 with no disc in the drive

4. Select View Connection Status

Your MAC Address (Wi-Fi) will be displayed

3. Select Advanced Settings

4. Under IP settings, the MAC address will be listed next to Wired MAC and Wireless MAC on the right-hand side of the screen (this is also where the IP address and other information is located).

1. From the Home screen, select Settings, select System, and then About

Your MAC address will be displayed.

Alternatively, you may find the MAC address on the bottom or back of your Roku.

1. From the Main menu, choose Settings, and then click About

Alternatively, you may find the MAC address printed on the UPC label on the Apple TV Box.

1. From Settings, select Network, and then Status

Your MAC address will be displayed.

::Vizio Smart TV

The RJ45 and/or Wireless MAC address will be displayed.

::PC Computers

Note: PC computers do not need to be registered in order connect to the wireless network. This information is provided for diagnostic purposes only.

1. Type cmd into the search bar on the bottom left corner of your desktop and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

2. A Command Prompt window will appear. Type ipconfig/all and press the Enter key on your keyboard.

3. Scroll down to the section titled Wireless Adapter Ethernet.

4. Look for the entry titled Physical Address. Your MAC address will be displayed to the right.

::Apple (Macintosh) Computers

Note: Apple (Macintosh) computers do not need to be registered in order connect to the wireless network. This information is provided for diagnostic purposes only.

1. Click the System Preferences icon on your dock.

2. When the System Preferences panel opens, click the Network icon.

3. In the left sidebar, click Wi-Fi to highlight it. Then, click the Advanced button.

4. Click the Hardware tab. When this tab opens, your MAC address will be displayed.
