About this field
The pre-medicine track is designed to fulfill all the course requirements needed to apply to allopathic and osteopathic medical schools in the United States. This track also includes suggested coursework to prepare students to take the MCAT exam.
The Valdosta State Difference
The pre-medicine track was prepared by faculty in the Department of Biology who collectively have more than 100 years of experience preparing students for successfully applying to medical school. The track is routinely updated to meet any new admission and testing requirements for this field. The Department also assists students with recommendation letters, applications, and shadowing advice.
