Dr. Huishan Yang

Dr. Yang received her doctoral degree from the Center for Public Administration and Policy at Virginia Tech. Her research focuses on understanding managerial dilemmas across different organizational levels by utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as network analysis and Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA). She received the Sam Overman Best Paper Award from the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) in 2023. She also served as the managing editor for Administration & Society journal from 2019 to 2021.
